The story of missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 continues to puzzle and frustrate.

In the absence of facts speculation has run rife and many media organisations have speculated some rather fanciful ideas, while some commentators have cravenly sought to blame Islamic terrorists without any supporting evidence.

Meanwhile the families of those onboard wait, and wait, and wait.

As the wait goes on and frustration builds humour can alleviate that frustration. Some have been attacked for making jokes regarding the missing flight, but I firmly believe that humour can be a coping mechanism. With that in mind I made the following jokes on social media in recent days.

Flying High

From “Airplane!” or as I know it in Australia “Flying High”.

Fantasy Island man

And from the mystifying “Fantasy Island” the iconic character Tattoo.

You may not find these to your taste, but humour isn’t meant to please everyone.
